Our meeting began at 7:10 p.m. with 12 members in attendance. Our invocation was presented by chapter chaplain Steve Sanguino. Dianne Lennox our President read Lory Wolf’s treasurer’s report. Our membership now stands at 90. Notices have been mailed to those who have not paid their 2018 dues. We may follow up with e-mail reminders to members who remain in arrears. It was announced that Lou Calasibetta will be hosting his annual spring get-together at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 12th at his Old Stillwater Ga- rage in Stillwater, New Jersey. Our chapter annual report will be sent to POCI. We will start to work on a design for this year’s car show flyer. We will consider making changes to our car show classes as well as to the arrangement of cars on the show field. It was suggested that we put together a car show photo album. Some of us still expressed a desire for a chapter outing to Northlandz in Flemington, New Jersey. However prior commitments prevented several of us from agreeing upon a date. Perhaps towards the end of summer or after our October 7th car show ? The meeting ended at 8:27 p.m.

Fourteen members began our last meeting of the year at 6:56 p.m. as chapter chaplain Steve Sanguino gave our invocation. Lory Wolf read her treasurer’s report and passed around copies of the report. The chapter website was recently updated. An announcement of our “After-the-Holidays” party has been e-mailed to members. And Dianne Lennox, our chapter president handed out party information flyers. Those participants in our last wine-making venture agreed to bring several bottles for all to enjoy at our Sunday, January 21st party. We discussed a trip to Northlandz, the famous model railroad display in Flemington, New Jersey as an enjoyable chapter wintertime activity. We will check into the particulars of such an outing. Don Keefe, Founding Editor-in-Chief of Poncho Perfection Magazine will be sending an article about photographing cars to Bill Wolf, our newlletter editor for inclusion in a future Metro News. Mary Ann Schwedhelm delivered our new chapter “dress” shirts to those who had ordered them. Our next meetings will be held on Thursday, January 18th and Thursday, February 15th. Our meeting officially ended at 7:26 p.m. but several of us remained in happy conversation about our Christmas plans.

Our meeting began at 6:57 p.m. with an invocation by chapter chaplain Steve Sanguino. Eleven members were present. Lory Wolf read her treasurer’s report and also mentioned that we have approximately 90 chapter members. Our web designer will be updating our chapter web- site and our October 1st car show will be featured. We decided to hold our “After-the-Holidays” party on Sunday, January 21st at Casa Giuseppe in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Announcements of the party will appear on our website and sent to members via e- mails. Mary Ann Schwedhelm has placed an order for our chapter “dress” sports-style shirts. She also reported on our chapter apparel inventory and mentioned that we will order more T-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts. Our next and final wine-making session will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 17th at Your Own Winery. To every participant’s joy this will be bottling day! We will arrange to bring some of the newly fermented product to our “After-the-Holidays” party. All present were enthusiastic about planning a trip to Northlandz “Home of the Great American Railway, Doll Museum and Art Gallery” in Flemington, New Jersey early in the New Year. Twelve members were on hand at 6:57 p.m. as chapter chaplain Steve Sanguino began our meeting with an invocation. Copies of our financial report were handed out. The report indicated that our recent car show was a success. A list of winners in each car class category will go to Bill Wolf our newsletter editor. It was noted that everyone was pleased with the fare and service provided by the food truck we hired for the show. There were approximately 79 Pontiacs and GMCs in our show. We discussed show parking issues in depth in an effort to streamline the parking process in future chapter car shows. Our web designer will be putting car show photos on our chapter website. Mary Ann Schwedhelm showed us the design for the logo on our new chapter “dress” short-sleeved shirt. She will place an order for our dress shirts soon and an order for our T-shirts and sweatshirts later. Our next wine-making adventure will begin at noon this Sunday, October 22nd at Your Own Winery in Riverdale, New Jersey. It is once again that time of year to think about which restaurant we will select for our annual “After the Holidays” par- ty in January. Our meeting concluded at 8:17 p.m.

Our meeting began at 6:59 p.m. with an invocation by chapter chaplain Steve Sanguino. Fourteen members were present. Lory Wolf read her treasurer’s report and informed us that our web designer updated our website recently. Our membership now totals 86. The owner of the food truck we hired to provide lunch at our October 1st car show has indicated that it is a “go” for show day. One of our chapter directors, Steve Kiellar who has played a key role in our car show preparations for years went through his check list of to do items with us all. We will be rafflinging off 2 collectibles donated by Bill Wolf our newsletter editor. So far approximately 17 entrants have pre-registered for the show. Mary Ann Schwedhelm reported on the status of our chapter merchandise to be sold at the show. We will be running a 50/50 at the show too. Those chapter members who will be working the show were urged to meet up at the show site, the Clifton Masonic Lodge on Saturday, September 30th (the day before the show) at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the arrangement of car classes on the show field. The placement of our registration desk, food truck, audio system and tables for the sale of chapter apparel and dash plaques will also be reviewed. It was decided that all hands should be on deck by 7:00 a.m. to ready the Masonic Lodge for our very first show there. Our meeting ended at 8:28 p.m.
