Our meeting began at 6:59 p.m. with an invocation by chapter chaplain Steve Sanguino. Fourteen members were present. Lory Wolf read her treasurer’s report and informed us that our web designer updated our website recently. Our membership now totals 86. The owner of the food truck we hired to provide lunch at our October 1st car show has indicated that it is a “go” for show day. One of our chapter directors, Steve Kiellar who has played a key role in our car show preparations for years went through his check list of to do items with us all. We will be rafflinging off 2 collectibles donated by Bill Wolf our newsletter editor. So far approximately 17 entrants have pre-registered for the show. Mary Ann Schwedhelm reported on the status of our chapter merchandise to be sold at the show. We will be running a 50/50 at the show too. Those chapter members who will be working the show were urged to meet up at the show site, the Clifton Masonic Lodge on Saturday, September 30th (the day before the show) at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the arrangement of car classes on the show field. The placement of our registration desk, food truck, audio system and tables for the sale of chapter apparel and dash plaques will also be reviewed. It was decided that all hands should be on deck by 7:00 a.m. to ready the Masonic Lodge for our very first show there. Our meeting ended at 8:28 p.m.
